Wahoooo! My first big trip since buying my house - with new travel buddies. After waiting almost 3 months for my new passport (!), we spent about 9 days in Peru and it was awesome, although very different from Europe. The highlights would include visiting Macchu Pichu, a trip into the Amazon jungle, and delivering toys to kindergartens in mountain villages around Cusco.
