My sister Debby got home Friday night after almost 16 months in Afghanistan. I'm so proud of her and all of the hard work she and others like her do all over the world (like my other brothers and sisters - Sara spent the summer in Middle East collecting pancreatic tumors, Marc and all of his sonar work that's taken him all over the world, Brett and the buildings he designs, and Kirk - well, he teaches junior high -enough said... I feel like a slacker compared to all of them!). With that said, I'm happy Deb's home and just a phone call away for a few months. Some of my favorite pictures she sent back while on the other side of the world...
