Why is it that you never get as much done as you think you should?! If someone had asked me how long it would take me to get all moved back in and settled, I'd have told them a week, maybe 10 days... and I would have been a liar!! I just don't get much done on week nights - I'm lucky if I can get through a whole box! But I'm getting there - I think all of my clothes are unpacked, and everything but the tupperware is unpacked in the kitchen, and all of the bathroom stuff... really the most important things, right? But I miss my books and movies!! Anyhoo... a few pictures...
Thanks to Kirk, I finally got the promised bunkbeds set up... but look how close that top bunk is to the ceiling! Maybe I need to pad the ceiling... don't want any concussions or anything!
And yeah... don't look in the closets - that's my secret stash in there!! (And the garage is still pretty much a disaster zone!)
Out of curiosity, I looked on line to see if I could find any picture of my house and low and behold!! This one had to have been taken shortly after it was built in 1941.
This was what it looked like when I bought the house in... 2003... can that be?? I've been here for 7 years?
And how it looks today! Little bit different, huh?!
I am LOVING my new house... I smile everytime I put a dish in the dishwasher and do a load of laundry in my red washer and dryer, I love all of the extra outlets and the overhead lights, the new windows are awesome and I think I've already spent more time in the basement than I did in the previous 7 years... and I am so excited to use my new furnace and not have to worry about relighting the dumb pilot light!! Wahoo... now if I could just the last of those boxes taken care of...

Unpacking is such a job... you'll get there one box at time, and it will be a GREAT day when you are done! I'm glad that you are enjoying your beautiful home!!
